About us

Pakefield retreat centre was established in 2003.

We offer classes and workshops from the yoga tradition and teachings of Swami Sivananda Radha, as set out in Swami Radha's books:
Kundalini Yoga for the West,
Divine Light Invocation
Mantras; Words of Power
Hatha Yoga; the Hidden Language

What your weekend might look like..

Arrival from 4 pm Friday afternoon
Time to unpack and explore village and beaches
Supper when people are ready
Satsang

Saturday
7:30 am Hatha Yoga Hidden Language Class
Breakfast
Morning Yoga class of reflections, visualisations, concentration and discussion
Lunch and time for walking or swimming depending on the weather
Late afternoon class
Followed by supper
Satsang

Sunday
7:30 am Hatha Yoga Hidden Language Class
Breakfast
Morning Yoga class of reflections, guided visualisations, concentration exercises and discussion

Lunch and time for further exploration of the area
Afternoon class 3-4pm

People generally depart around 4-5pm but you can stay overnight and leave the following morning at no extra charge – on request

Yoga mats and cushions are provided. You are asked bring along a notebook and pen to all sessions

No Previous experience is necessary
